Volkswagen ITP Genuine Parts managed successfully several projects in 2014 with Top-Logic™-based customer solution MPM-Tool. Using this application intensively, a demand for enhancements of the export functions arose, considering more strongly the needs of the key user groups project heads and controlling. The current release 1.2.0 implements their requirements.

Freie Definition von Kennzahlen, Berichtsgrößen und Anflugkurven und die darauf aufbauende automatische Gegenüberstellung von Soll- und Ist Werten in Abhängigkeit von der Projektphase ermöglichen ein „Management by Exception“: Das System erkennt automatisch die Projekte, die besonderer Beachtung bedürfen und schlägt sie für eine entsprechende Eskalation vor. Top-Logic™ Project bietet damit eine aktive Unterstützung der Entscheidungsprozesse.
Das führt zu einer Vorverdichtung der Informationen und damit zu einer Entlastung der Entscheidungsträger. In großen Szenarien wird eine effektive Projekt- und Portfoliosteuerung so überhaupt erst ermöglicht.
Weitere Schwerpunkte dieser Version sind Verbesserungen in Berichtswesen, Usability und Performance.
The latest release of Top-LogicTM Project introduces comprehensive kpi managment into the reporting system. Flexible definition of KPIs and approaching curves permit a nominal-actual comparision as a function of the projects current phase, thus allowing a „management by exception“: The systems automatically identifies projects requiring the most attention and proposes them for escalation. Top-LogicTM Projects hereby provides active support of the decision processes. The concentration of information contributes to a load relief of the managing directors. That’s how an effective project- and portfolio becomes possible even in large-scale scenarios. Further improvements of this release focus on reporting, usability and performance.

Cross location project management of Volkswagen Komponente is further developed with Version 1.4.0 of our Top-Logic™ Project Solution Prime (Project implement environment). Based on Top-Logic™ Project this release is focused on support of customer specific roles, processes and operating principles in the context of „project creation and planning“.
Mit Version 1.4.0 der Top-Logic™ Lösung Prime (Project implement environment) wird die standortübergreifende Projektsteuerung bei Volkswagen Komponente weiter ausgebaut. Aufbauend auf Top-Logic™ Project ist der Schwerpunkt dieser Version die Unterstützung kundenspezifischer Rollen, Prozesse und Arbeitsweisen rund um das Szenario „Projektanlage und -Ausplanung“.
Nachdem sich Top-Logic™ in den Geschäftsfeldern von Volkswagen Komponente innerhalb Deutschland seit 2012 bewährt hat, wird die Steuerung der Entwicklung nun auch in China erfolgreich eingesetzt. Durch die Security-Konzepte von Top-Logic™ wird sichergestellt, dass ausschließlich berechtigte Personen Zugang zu den sensiblen Informationen der Komponentenentwicklung haben.

Since Top-Logic™ has been tried and tested in the Volkswagen component business segments within Germany since 2012, the development control system is now also being successfully implemented in China. The security concepts of Top-Logic™ are designed to ensure that only authorized persons can gain access to the sensitive information in component development.
Top-Logic™ is also being used for the planning and controlling of infrastructure projects, such as the new Volkswagen engine plant in Russia.
Business Operation Systems hat im Juni mit der Vermarktung des im Funktionsumfang deutlich erweiterten Produktes Top-Logic™ Contract begonnen. Bis dato konnten namhafte Fussballvereine aus Österreich, Belgien, den Niederlanden und der Schweiz für die „Kaufmännische Steuerung mit Top-Logic™ Contract“ interessiert werden.
Auch mit deutschen, weltweit agierenden Marketing- und Eventorganisationen konnten erste Gespräche geführt werden, so dass wir davon überzeugt sind, neue Kundengruppen für Top-Logic™ basierende Lösungen gewinnen zu können.
