Anfang März wurde die Version Top-Logic™ 6-0-4 für das BOS Entwicklungsteam und für die Entwicklungspartner von BOS freigegeben. Nun können Instanzen von Top-Logic™ Anwendungen synchronisiert werden.
Für Mai 2018 ist die Version 6-1-0 angekündigt, die die yFiles Integration beinhalten wird, so dass Top-Logic™ Modelle graphisch editiert werden können.
At the beginning of March the version Top-Logic™ 6-0-4 was released for the BOS development team and for the development partners of BOS. Instances of Top-Logic™ applications can now be synchronized.
Version 6-1-0 has been announced for May 2018, which will include the yFiles integration, so that Top-Logic™ models can be edited graphically.
Der Verantwortliche für die Produktbasisentwicklung präsentiert mit den Worten „Ein Quantensprung in der Entwicklung von Top-Logic™“ die Vorstellung des langangekündigten Produkt Updates, das ab sofort für die Entwicklungs- und Projektpartner von BOS zur Verwendung bereitsteht.
Im Fokus der Entwicklung der neuen Produktversion, in die BOS mehrere Personenjahre investiert hat, standen die Themen „bessere Befähigung der Entwicklungspartner“, „dynamische Erweiterung des Objektmodells“ und „typisierte Konfigurationsfunktionen“.
Die neue Produktversion wurde bereits dem mit der BOS verbundenen Kooperationspartner ASCon Sytems zur Verfügung gestellt und als Basis für die Entwicklung von neuen Anwendungen für Audi, BMW AG und Volkswagen AG verwendet.
With the words „A quantum leap in the development of Top-Logic™“, the person responsible for product base development presents the introduction of the long-announced product update that is now available for use by BOS development and project partners.
The development of the new product version, in which BOS has invested several man-years, focused on the topics „better qualification of development partners“, „dynamic extension of the object model“ and „standardized configuration functions“.
The new product version has already been made available to ASCon Systems, a cooperation partner of BOS, and has been used as the basis for the development of new applications for Audi, BMW AG and Volkswagen AG.
Die Analyse der Produkte basiert auf einer detaillierten Systemevaluation, die in Zusammenarbeit mit den Herstellern vorgenommen wurde. Die Studie wählt bewusst eine ganzheitliche Perspektive auf die Systeme – anstelle der Untersuchung von Einzelfunktionen wurden die Systeme hinsichtlich ihrer Fähigkeit klassifiziert, die verschiedenen Phasen des Projektlebenszyklusses und die am Projektmanagement beteiligten Führungsebenen zu unterstützen. Die Untersuchung wird abgerundet durch ein Vorgehensmodell zur System-Auswahl sowie eine umfassende Beschreibung von Produktfunktionen.
The product analysis is based on a detailed system evaluation which was carried out in cooperation with the vendors. The survey takes a holistic point of view on the systems – instead of examining single functions the systems were classified with respect to their ability to support the project managers of all governance layers in the different phases of the project lifecycle. The survey is completed by a procedure model for system selection and a comprehensive description of product functions.
2013 wird Business Operation Systems die Produktweiterentwicklung des Vertragsmanagementsystems seinen Kunden vorstellen. Bereits Ende Januar wird ein Pilotkunde die neuen Funktionsumfänge produktiv einsetzen.
Das zentrale Element der Anwendung – das Vertragsdatenblatt – wird um eine Vertragspositionsverwaltung erweitert.
Die Planung der mit Verträgen zusammenhängenden Zahlungen wurde komplett neu entwickelt und aus der Vertragsverwaltung heraus in einen neuen Reiter überführt. Das Anlegen und Bearbeiten von unregelmäßigen und regelmäßigen Zahlungsreihen ist nun deutlich einfacher möglich.
Highlight der Produkterweiterung ist das Modul „Rechnungserstellung“. Unter Verwendung der Zahlungsplanung kann ein Workflow zur Bearbeitung und Freigabe von Rechnungen durchlaufen werden.
Die Cockpitfunktionen wurden erweitert, so dass die Rechnungsverantwortlichen einen schnellen Überblick über abzurechnende Zahlungen erhalten.
Eine parametrisierbare Finanzauswertung ermöglicht eine umfangreiche Analyse der Zahlungsverpflichtungen und -eingänge innerhalb des Vertragsbestandes. Durch Aggregationen und Drilldowns kann die Analyse auf einzelne Unternehmensteile und Lieferanten eingeschränkt werden.
Ein neues Aufgabenmanagement löst die bisherige Wiedervorlagefunktionalität ab. Zusätzlich zu den gewohnten Standardwiedervorlagen können sich Nutzer an beliebige Fristen eines Vertrags ganz einfach per E-Mail erinnern lassen. Die Aufgaben werden ins Cockpit und in die Suche integriert und unterstützen den Nutzer bei seinem Arbeitsablauf.
Durch diese Produkterweiterungen stellt BOS mit Top-Logic Contract™ nun ein Vertrags- und Finanzsteuerungssystem zur Verfügung.
In 2013 Business Operation Systems will present the newest product enhancement of its contract management system to its customers. A pilot customer will introduce the new functions in its productive system already in January.
The central element of the application – the contract data sheet – is extended by a contract position administration.
The management of payments that result from a contract has been completely redesigned and moved to a new tab. Creating and editing periodic and non-periodic payments has been greatly simplified.
The highlight of the product extension is the “invoice creator” module. Using the payment planning a workflow for invoice editing and approval can be executed.
The cockpit functionality has been extended to provide the invoice responsible with a quick overview of billable payments.
A finance reports with a set of parameters allows for an extensive analysis of due and incoming payments across the contract portfolio. With aggregations and drill-downs the analysis can be focused to individual suppliers or parts of the enterprise.
A new task management replaces the previous reminder system. In addition to the known standard reminders the user can now have the system remind him of any contract date via e-mail very easily. Tasks are fully integrated into the cockpit and search modules so that they provide a valuable support for the user in his daily work.
With the new features and extensions BOS is relaunching Top-Logic Contract™ as a contract and finance management system.
