In 2013 Business Operation Systems will present the newest product enhancement of its contract management system to its customers. A pilot customer will introduce the new functions in its productive system already in January.
The central element of the application – the contract data sheet – is extended by a contract position administration.
The management of payments that result from a contract has been completely redesigned and moved to a new tab. Creating and editing periodic and non-periodic payments has been greatly simplified.
The highlight of the product extension is the “invoice creator” module. Using the payment planning a workflow for invoice editing and approval can be executed.
The cockpit functionality has been extended to provide the invoice responsible with a quick overview of billable payments.
A finance reports with a set of parameters allows for an extensive analysis of due and incoming payments across the contract portfolio. With aggregations and drill-downs the analysis can be focused to individual suppliers or parts of the enterprise.
A new task management replaces the previous reminder system. In addition to the known standard reminders the user can now have the system remind him of any contract date via e-mail very easily. Tasks are fully integrated into the cockpit and search modules so that they provide a valuable support for the user in his daily work.
With the new features and extensions BOS is relaunching Top-Logic Contract™ as a contract and finance management system.
